Terms of service

1. Who we are

Veqlon is a service of Gyanesh Kumar Pandey, proprietor, C-2/202, Vishal Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 226010, India, GSTIN 09BAHPP7053G1ZF ("we", "us"). Contact: support@veqlon.com.

These terms apply between us and the business that signs up for Veqlon ("you"). The person who signs up confirms that they may act for that business. Veqlon is for businesses and organisations, not for private use by consumers.

2. The service

• Veqlon lets you make and use apps for your business: from ready apps, or from a description that an AI turns into an app. Each business gets its own copy of Veqlon at its own address, for example yourcompany.veqlon.com.
• We can improve and change the service. If a change removes an important feature that you pay for, we tell you at least 30 days before.
• We make a backup of your data every night. We work to keep the service available, but we do not promise that it is always available or free of errors.

3. Your account and your people

• The first administrator of your business manages the other accounts. You are responsible for the actions of all accounts of your business.
• Keep passwords secret. Tell us at once if you think that somebody used your account without permission.
• Each business can have one free trial.

4. The free trial

• The free trial is 30 days, with the features and limits of the Team plan. It needs no card.
• At the end of the trial, if you do not choose a plan, your apps become read-only: people can read and export the data, but cannot add new work.
• After 90 days without a plan, we delete your business and its data. We send emails before that.

5. Plans, prices and payment

• The plans, their prices and their limits are on the prices page. Prices in rupees are without GST; customers in India pay GST on top.
• You pay for a year or for a month in advance, on the plan page of your Veqlon. A plan does not renew by itself: we send reminders before the end, and you pay the next period when you want to continue.
• Payments are made through Razorpay. We do not see or keep your card numbers.
• We can change the prices. A change applies from your next renewal, and we tell you at least 30 days before.
• Refunds and cancellation: see the refund and cancellation policy.
• If a payment fails or a plan ends, your apps become read-only, as after the trial.

6. Your data

• Your data belongs to you. We use it only to provide Veqlon to you, as described in the data processing terms and the privacy policy.
• You can export your data at any time, also when your apps are read-only.
• You are responsible for the data that you put into Veqlon, and for having the right to use it. This includes the personal data of your staff and of your clients.

7. The AI

• Some features use an AI service: to design or change apps, to read documents, to draft texts and to answer questions. For this, the text of your request and the necessary records go to the AI provider (see the privacy policy).
• The results of the AI can be wrong or incomplete. A person in your business must check them before they are used. Veqlon marks the fields that the AI fills.
• Each plan has a monthly number of AI requests.

8. Location and face check

• Apps can read the location of a phone and do a face check, for example for attendance. You decide which apps use them.
• You are responsible for using these features lawfully: inform your staff, get their consent where the law requires it, and offer another way to people who do not consent. Veqlon shows a consent text before a person gives a reference photo, and lets each person delete their face data.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Veqlon:

• for anything that is illegal, or to keep or send illegal content;
• to attack, overload or test the security of Veqlon or of other systems without our written permission;
• to send spam, or to keep personal data without a legal basis;
• to copy or resell the service.

If you break these rules, we can stop your access. When possible, we warn you first.

10. Liability

• We provide Veqlon with reasonable care and skill.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, for example lost profit, lost business or lost data that a backup could have saved.
• Our total liability in each year is at most the amount that you paid us for Veqlon in the 12 months before the event.
• These limits do not apply where the law does not allow them, for example for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. End of the contract

• You can stop at any time; see the refund and cancellation policy.
• We can end the contract with 30 days of notice by email. If we end it without a fault on your side, we refund the paid time that is not used.
• After the end, you can export your data for 90 days. Then we delete it. Backups are deleted 30 days later.

12. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms. We tell the owner of each business by email at least 30 days before an important change. If you do not agree, you can stop before the change applies.

13. Law and courts

The laws of India apply. The courts of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, have jurisdiction. Before going to a court, please write to us, so that we can try to solve the problem.
